In a rather surprising news this evening, Jose Mourinho who is by far one of the greatest football managers in this modern era has called it a day on his career as a football manager.
In a statement made to the press, the former Chelsea, Real Madrid and Inter Milan Manager has mentioned he now finds it difficult to deal with the current demands of the game and has not been able to win games the way he wanted it so it just became necessary for him to quit now to save him from further disgrace.
He also mentioned that it does not make sense now to go looking for a smaller team to manage after managing the biggest clubs in the world throughout his career. It is better for me to take a rest than to manage a smaller team and spend hours at night preparing to win games which I hardly do now.
To end his statement to the press, he mentioned that he is a family man and due to the nature of his work finds it extremely difficult to spend quality time with them, so he will use the remaining years God has given him to attend to his family and to make them happy.
He ended by thanking the fans of the football clubs and players he has worked with.
Mourinho will most be remembered for winning the Champions league with F.C Porto and Inter Milan.
He will greatly be missed for his antics on the field and him always accusing others for his failures.
