I dated Sarkodie for only two months; Efya

There are so many celebrity couples all over the world with Jay Z and Beyoncé toping them as the most famous. In our small country Ghana, there are some few celebrity couples but the one that most Ghanaians prayed for was Sarkodie to have a thing going on with Efya which we thought never happened.

They both denied the dating rumours whenever that discussion came up. We all thought the dating rumours between the musicians has been laid to rest with Sarkodie opening up on his relationship with his girlfriend Tracy and finally having a beautiful baby girl with her.

But to the surprise of many entertainment lovers in Ghana, Efya's interview on a popular Tanzanian TV station called Prepare TV unveiled her secret affair with Sarkodie.

The presenter asked Efya how her relationship with Sarkodie was and if they ever dated. She just told the presented in plain words that, she is not going to continue deceiving her fans since they’ve been loyal to her so she would say it as it is because she would not like to be asked that question by any presenter again.

Sarkodie was my boyfriend for only two months and we broke up. When the presenter asked what led to the breakup with the SarkCess Record Label boss,she said anytime they had sex, he [Sarkodie] always mentions the name of Tracy while on top of her and she finds it very disrespectful so she called the relationship quit.

She also mentioned that the breakup nearly led her to commit suicide and took the intervention of her family especially her mom to try and talk her out of the thought. 'My mom tried but it didn’t really work so I was taken to Angel Obinim for special prayers to be said for me to forget him and concentrate on my music career'.

When asked if she enjoyed her sexual life with Sarkodie, she smiled and said she will be a hypocrite to say no. The guy’s waist can go very fast as his month. He is just not the fastest rapper in Africa but I think he has the fastest waist as well.

The presenter asked her if she missed Sarkodie as a boyfriend, she said yes and mentioned that for the sake of his family, she hardly interferes in his affairs and just sees him as a colleague in the music industry.

The interview ended with Efya singing her part in a song Sarkodie featured her in. I’m in love with you.
