I still
can’t understand why people especially women in this modern world will bleach
their skin knowing the health effect of it. Some people do it because they
think having a fairer skin will make them more beautiful whiles others do it
because they think having a dark skin is for people with low quality of life.
Until the
presence of women like Kaakie, Mzvee and recently Ebony in the Ghanaian
entertainment industry, Mzbel was the only strong female Hip Life artist in the
male dominated industry who was selling out with her songs and performances.
Anytime the
name Mzbel is mentioned, what usually comes to mind is the way she dresses
exposing vital parts of her body to her fans both on and off the stage but for
some time now, our beloved Mzbel is fully covered with her dress anytime she is
in the public eye.
We at
‘alakpator.com’ have decided to find out what might lead to the change of style
of Mzbel’s dressing.
She opened up
with the following message. ‘One of the things that I regret in my life is
bleaching and it’s too late for me to do anything about it. I used to show of
my skin to people of all ages but can’t do that again because of the severe
effect of bleaching on my skin. The colour on my skin looks very terribly and I
feel shy to show it off so I have decided never to wear shot stuffs again. I
hope the up and coming ones will learn something from my mistake’.
